Websites built to earn trust. Run so you never have to think about them.

Kingswood Digital designs, hosts, and maintains WordPress platforms for e-commerce brands, local businesses, nonprofits, and universities across the United States. Below is what that looks like when it ships.

Every project here started with a business problem, not a template: an online store that kept getting breached, a racing product with no proper home online, a 140-year-old fraternity that needed a modern front door, and a local owner competing with national vending operators. The work that followed is bespoke WordPress design, enterprise managed hosting on WP Engine, and the monthly care that keeps all of it running.

Four engagements, four different problems. Each card says what the client needed, what we built, and what changed. Where a number is missing, the client hasn't shared one yet, and we'd rather leave a gap than invent it.

ExFog From repeated compromise to a clean bill of health

  • Managed hosting migration
  • Security hardening
  • Ongoing care
Challenge

ExFog makes the patented, American-made ExFog antifog system for goggles and headwear, sold direct through its own WooCommerce store and through a dealer network. On commodity hosting the store was fighting persistent threat actors, and every cleanup was followed by another breach.

What we did

We migrated the site to a fully managed Kingswood plan on WP Engine enterprise infrastructure, hardened the stack, put weekly patching and edge security in place, and took over incident response so the owner no longer had to.

  • 0reinfections since migration
  • 71%faster page loads
  • 24/7monitored recovery

“Since the migration we haven't had a single security incident. It's the first time in years I don't think about our website.”

Local services · B2B lead generation Twin Cities, Minnesota

Metro Vending Solutions A local owner's answer to the national operators

  • Web design & development
  • Conversion strategy
  • Local SEO structure
Challenge

Doug Weisbrod has stocked and serviced Twin Cities break rooms himself since 2019. His offer is strong in person (free machines, same-day service, one phone number that gets answered) but he needed a site that could make that case before he picked up the phone, and screen out locations that wouldn't qualify.

What we did

We designed and built a single-page lead-generation site in the owner's own voice. It opens with the three problems businesses actually have with vending, puts a side-by-side comparison against large regional operators in the middle, and closes with a four-step “how it works,” an industry-by-industry “who we serve” section, and an FAQ written as the questions prospects ask. A two-step qualification form captures location type and headcount, and the footer lists every county and city he covers for local search.

E-commerce · RC racing Direct-to-consumer

Drop-In RC Tire Washer A proper home for a product racers already swear by

  • Web design & development
  • WooCommerce store
  • Order tracking
  • Content
Challenge

The Drop-In RC Tire Washer cleans 1/10 and 1/8 RC racing tires in seconds, right from the pit area. It already had a 5.0 Google rating and a loyal following of dirt oval and off-road racers, but no storefront that could show the product working, answer the technical questions, and take the order in one visit.

What we did

We built a WooCommerce store with the demo video front and center, a four-step “how it works,” racer testimonials, a technical FAQ covering battery, runtime, and maintenance, order tracking, a live Facebook feed, and checkout with Visa, Mastercard, Amex, PayPal, and Apple Pay. Launched August 2026.

Nonprofit · Fraternal organization St. Paul, Minnesota

Osman Shriners A modern front door for a fraternity founded in 1886

  • Web design & development
  • Events platform
  • Membership tools
  • Email marketing
  • Ongoing care
Challenge

Osman Shriners supports Shriners Children's hospitals and runs a full calendar: the St. Paul Osman Shrine Circus, its clubs and units, fundraisers, and member events. One site has to serve members (dues, newsletter, magazine), prospective members (the petition to join), and the public (donations, events), without a full-time web team behind it.

What we did

We built and maintain the site with a public events calendar that accepts community submissions, an online membership petition that routes straight to the office, dues and donation links, Sunday newsletter signup, the Osman Magazine and “Osman Blasts” archives, and a clubs-and-units directory. Beyond the site, we produce the branded email campaigns behind fundraisers and volunteer recruiting.

What every engagement has in common

Kingswood Digital is a Minnesota web agency that designs, hosts, and maintains WordPress websites for businesses that treat their site as revenue infrastructure. The four projects above differ in industry and scale, but the method underneath them is the same.

  • Designed from evidence

Every project starts with discovery: stakeholder interviews, analytics, and your customers' actual questions. Metro Vending's FAQ and Drop-In's technical answers came from that work, not from a template.

  • Engineered beneath the surface

Performance, WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility, and search structure are built in from the first wireframe. Each site ships responsive, with metadata and schema in place, on standard WordPress you own outright.

  • Hosted on enterprise infrastructure

As a WP Engine Preferred Partner we run every managed site on hardened infrastructure with daily backups, edge security, and 99.95% uptime. ExFog's zero reinfections since migration is what that looks like in practice.

  • Cared for after launch

Most clients keep us on. Care plans from $119 a month cover tested updates, monitoring, and monthly improvement hours, run by the same engineers who built the site. Osman Shriners is one of them.

Questions people ask before they get in touch

What kinds of businesses does Kingswood Digital work with?

Kingswood Digital works with e-commerce brands, local service businesses, nonprofits, and universities across the United States. Recent clients include ExFog, Metro Vending Solutions, Drop-In RC Tire Washer, Osman Shriners, and Santa Clara University. Most are small to mid-sized organizations that depend on their website for revenue or membership but don't have a web team in-house.

What platform do you build on?

We build on standard WordPress, with WooCommerce for stores, hosted on WP Engine enterprise infrastructure. Every site is hand-built, responsive, accessible to WCAG 2.2 AA, and owned entirely by you: your site, your content, your accounts, no proprietary lock-in.

Do you only design websites, or do you host and maintain them too?

We do all three. Kingswood Digital designs new sites, hosts them as a WP Engine Preferred Partner, and maintains them on monthly care plans starting at $119. Most clients keep us on after launch because the engineers who built the site are the ones watching it.

Can you take over a WordPress site you didn't build?

Yes. ExFog's store was designed elsewhere and kept getting breached on commodity hosting; we migrated it to managed infrastructure, hardened it, and it has had zero reinfections since. Taking over an existing site starts with an audit and a plain-English report of what's working and what's at risk.

How long does a website project take, and what does it cost?

Typical design projects run six to ten weeks and are priced as a fixed fee, scoped after discovery and approved before any work begins. Ongoing hosting and care runs from $119 to $329 a month for most businesses, with enterprise plans from $1,500. The number you approve is the number you pay.

Where is Kingswood Digital located?

Kingswood Digital is based in Hopkins, Minnesota, in the Twin Cities metro, and works with clients nationwide. Local clients include Metro Vending Solutions and Osman Shriners; others, like ExFog in Indiana and Santa Clara University in California, we serve remotely.
